Our fluid simulation R&D focused on creating realistic and dynamic liquid effects using tools like Blender’s built-in fluid system and the powerful Liquigen add-on. This helped us push the boundaries of what’s possible in both visual fidelity and simulation control.
Our Approach:
-
We used Liquigen for high-resolution fluid simulations, allowing precise control over viscosity, interaction, and splashing behavior.
-
In Blender, we fine-tuned domain settings, collisions, and modifiers to achieve clean, physically accurate results across a wide range of scenarios from still pours to chaotic splashes.
-
Our team also worked on meshing and shading, ensuring that the final fluid not only behaves realistically, but also looks visually stunning when rendered or exported

Why It Matters:
Realistic liquid simulation is a key element in many visual projects from product ads to cinematic VFX. This R&D gave us full control over the look and motion of fluids, while maintaining flexibility for creative direction and optimization.
What's Next:
We're now integrating these fluid assets into Unreal Engine for real-time projects, including interactive simulations, cinematic shots, and virtual production environments.
